With the development of network and telecommunication technologies, advanced communication infrastructure has rapidly spread to other sectors of the industry. As a result, various attempts to introduce Ethernet and TCP/IP to factory floors by combining industrial communication technologies used in controlling, monitoring or data acquisition, and IT (Information Technologies) characterized by voice/data/screen communication, can be found in various practical applications.
